Thank You Note from Student Life and Outreach

On behalf of the Student Life Division and Outreach Departments, thank you for providing financial support to students so they could attend the SJ Giants game last night. The game exploded with many home runs, and the score was already 7-0 in the 1^st inning! It was fun to watch! The final score was 12-8, and the Fresno Grizzlies won! I believe we witnessed two grand slams and 4 to 6 home runs! It was great to see Leonardo Hatch doing the National Anthem on the Jumbotron! Also, Tony Guido, one of our cottage counselors, got the ball game in the food court/area!

I asked the students whether they enjoyed the game. Most of them said yes, and it was a good time to have a getaway from CSD. Also, many of us learned that professional players like Buster Posey, Pablo Sandoval, and Madison Bumgarner played there for one/two seasons before joining the San Francisco Giants.

The Outreach Department met with some families and San Jose community members at the SJ Giants game and made connections!
