GRANTS for CSD Staff
Parodi Charitable Trust is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community at California School for the Deaf by providing grants and support to those in need. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through education programs. We believe in creating a better future for all, with a focus on grants available for CSD staff. At Parodi Charitable Trust, we are committed to enabling staff to empower students to learn, experience, and thrive.
Dear CSD Community,
The Charitable Trust was created in 1991 by the late Donald N. Parodi for the “exclusive use and benefit of the California School for the Deaf of Fremont, California.” As a proud alumnus of the school, he specifically stated that the purposes of the fund are:
• To enrich and enhance the programs of the California School for the Deaf.
• To promote services for Deaf children.
• To improve and expand the facilities and equipment of the school.
• To expand and improve the services of the school to the community of Deaf persons
in California.
• To encourage more widespread charitable contributions from the general public for the
use and benefit of the school and the Deaf community.
The Parodi Charitable Trust is inviting you to submit a grant request. You may now apply for a grant online on our new website. Please take a look, and feel free to apply if you have a proposal. For requests directly from students, please see information at this page, Scholarship for CSD Students and share the link with them.

The next trustee meeting will be Friday, February 27, 2026. Please submit your request online, and include e-signature from your supervisor by Monday, February 23. Please allow between 7 - 14 days after the trustee meeting to be notified of the status of your request. You will get an email from ParodiCharitable@gmail.com. The next trustee meeting will be June 2026. You may have the opportunity to submit your request in the future.
